Starting in late 2012, Brenau University gained responsibility for Gainesville’s showcase meetings and events facility just off the town square in the heart of the downtown area.

Although the university will be making some renovations to portions of the building to prepare for exciting expansions to its health professions graduate programs, it will be “business as usual” for rental and use of theater, meeting rooms and other portions of the building. The Brenau additions will make the facility an even more attractive meeting place for a wider variety of audiences.

Activities already on the calendar will take place as scheduled. And staff members will actively solicit additional programs for the available space. 

We will keep you posted on this site about the progress of the renovations that will result in year-round use of the facility by between 400 and 700 graduate students and 50 to 100 faculty and staff members all in addition to the activities in the theater and meeting rooms scheduled by individuals, business and professional organizations and community groups.

Brenau’s goal is enhance this vital Gainesville asset  to make it a truly extraordinary facility.
